Daily Photos...

Last year I made a New Years Resolution to take a photo of the day for every day of the year, I was pretty consistent until June, and then as all resolutions, I failed. So I am making a April 23rd resolution, I will started to take new photos everyday for a year. The two main reasons for doing this particular challenge and to be mindful of the world around me, and to continue to develop disciplines including creative ones. When I look at the things I enjoy I love capturing snapshot of my daily life. So here we go...

Today's picture is taken at our churches Spring Family Event. Allen was in charge of the event from planning to execution. He did an amazing job, and I am so proud of him. We started attending Clifton last July and have fallen in love with it. Allen just recently was promoted to be the Youth Minister. This particular "daily photo" is of Becky. Becky is a good friend to Allen and I. I met her through Tony, her boyfriend, one of Allen's dearest friends. Becky spent most of her life as a missionary in Bosnia. Her joy for life is

contagious, her laughter and innocence is refreshing. Side note, she always carries around candy in her purse, while I mock it mercilessly I think it is adorable and a source of happiness for many including Becky herself. Like with her candy she is so giving and would do anything for you.
